Over the last couple of months I have been busy making Memory Bears from loved ones clothing. I initially made two bears for a friend and I have been completely overwhelmed with the response from those two bears. I have decided to run with it and add it to my bear making. I have started a facebook page just for Memory Bears and I would like to invite you to pop over and like my new page. I would love it if you could join me on this journey. If you could also please share with your friends I would greatly appreciate it. I have put a new page up on here with all of the information about Memory Bears if you are interested at all. You can find it by clicking on the picture of the Memory Bear at the top of the home page on the right hand side. Below are a few pics of some of my recent bears made for families to remember their loved ones.

Recently my lovely neighbours Dad passed away after a long battle with his health. It was a very hard time for her and her family. I wanted to do something for her to make her feel better but could not think of anything, and then one day it dawned on me.......I could make her a bear from some of her Dads clothing. I asked her if she would like me to make her a bear and she said yes. So she gave me some pj's, a dressing gown and a shirt of his and this is what we came up with. I was so happy with the result. I made one for her and one for her Mum. They are a bit different to what I am used to but I really enjoyed making them because of how special they are.

Hello every one, Happy New Year.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year.
We had a lovely time over the holidays this year. We had some time off work and went camping for the first time. It was great. Our little girl really enjoyed it, lots of swimming at the pool and the beach. But it has been a very hot summer here so far. Apparently the 3rd hottest summer we have ever had since recording of the weather began. And I am pretty sure it is the hottest summer I have ever lived through. It has not been ideal for bear making that's for sure. The last couple of weeks have been a little bit better having some quite nice days in between the hot ones giving us a bit of relief from the heat and some time to get a bit of bears in.
So I am very excited to have a bear ready for adoption so soon in 2015. I have been working on him just a bit over the holidays and finished him last week. He is all ready to find his new forever home. for more details and photos pop over to the adoption page or to bear pile where he is available for purchase.
Thanks for stopping by, best wishes for you all for the new year ahead:)
